One of the most loved Marvel's Grey characters, Loki Laufeyson comes out as a bisexual for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In episode third of the Television series, Marvel's Loki, the God of Mischief has come out as bisexual. The episode not only uncovers Loki being a but also discloses his multiversal form Sylvie Laufeydottir (Lady Loki) is also a bi.
During a conversation, Sylvie asks Loki, if he has any Princess or a prince, which Loki replies as "a bit of both."
Loki Screenwriter Kate Herron tweeted saying it was very important for her to acknowledge the God of Mischief as bisexual.
"From the moment I joined Loki it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and my heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in the MCU," Herron expressed in her tweet.
Loki, however, is not the first bisexual character in the MCU. In 2019, Tessa Thomson revealed that her character Valkyrie had a female love interest in Thor Ragnarok, the scene was deleted in the Final cut.
Despite that, Loki is the first Marvel character to be explicitly bisexual.
