IMPEACHMENT DAY: 10 Republicans who voted to 'IMPEACH' Trump

On Wednesday, 10 House Republicans - crossing their 'party lines', voted to 'impeach Trump'.

The GOP lawmakers along with the Democrats formally charged President Trump with "inciting violence against the government", followed by the storming of Capitol by Trump supporters. Trump had addressed them in a rally near the White House. 

None of the Republicans had voted to impeach Trump in 2019.

  1. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.)  Adam is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 16th congressional district.

  2. Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.)

    John Katko is found often criticising Trump on Twitter. He was the first Republican to vote to impeach Trump on Wednesday. He is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 24th congressional district since 2015.
  3. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.)Cheney is the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney. She has had clashes with Trump regarding Afghan war-policy. She is an American attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for Wyoming's at-large congressional district since 2017.

  4. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.)“But I am a Republican voter… I see that my own party will be best served when those among us choose truth.”Jaime is an American politician who is the U.S. Representative for Washington's 3rd congressional district
  5. Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.) “Our country needs a leader and President Trump failed to fulfill his oath of office.” Dan is an American politician and agricultural scientist from Washington, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 4th congressional district.
  6. Rep. Peter Meijer (R-Mich.) “With a heavy heart, I will vote to impeach President Donald J. Trump.” Meijer  is an American politician and business analyst who is representing Michigan's 3rd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives
  7. Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio)“These are fundamental threats not just to people’s lives but to the very foundation of our Republic.” He has served as the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 16th congressional district since 2019. 

  8. Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.)

  10. Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.)“The Congress must hold President Trump to account and send a clear message that our country cannot and will not tolerate any effort by any President to impede the peaceful transfer of power from one President to the next.” Upton is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 6th congressional district, serving since 1987.
