Myanmar's news portals have been reporting the death of more than 90 people on Saturday by Myanmar's military regime.
Just a day after the formal acknowledgment of shooting people on the streets, intending to kill, there have been reports of at least 91 people being killed in protests following the February-1 Coup.
The death toll on Saturday is expected to rise as people have been severely injured.
As the Military leaders at the capital Nyapitaw were celebrating Armed Forces day, people on the streets signified the occasion as “Anti-Military Dictatorship Day.”
The country's military ruler Min Aung Hlaing said that the military will protect Myanmar's people and strive for Democracy.
However, the actions of the Military Forces on the streets seemed to be exactly the opposite of what General Hlaing said.
Myanmar's Armed Forces Day, the celebration of the beginning of the resistance against Japanese occupation, turned out to be the bloodiest day, since the coup as the armed forces slew people on the streets.
Myanmar Now reported at least 16 deaths in Yangon and more than 29 deaths in Mandalay, the two largest cities of the Southeast Asian country.
“One-year-old baby in Thamine, Yangon, was shot in the eye with a rubber bullet as he was playing by the coup regime’s armed forces today (Mar 27). Dozens have been killed across the country today,” Myanmar Now reported via Twitter.
