Former president Donald Trump asserted that FBI agents who completed a court-authorized search of his Palm Beach, Florida residence stole his last will in addition to the 100 classified documents discovered in his office and neighboring storage area.
They took plenty. I believe they stole my will. I found out yesterday," the twice-impeached former president remarked during an appearance on Sean Hannity's nightly Fox News program.
On August 8, Mr. Trump told Hannity that his attorneys and the National Archives and Records Administration were "having very nice discussions, no problems" until they were "suddenly hit very hard by the FBI."
When the twice-impeached former president stated that FBI agents had taken his will, Hannity replied, "Am I included?"
Mr. Trump did not say. He added, however, that the publishing of his will "could cause a great deal of trouble."
