According to jail records and sources, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Paul Pelosi was detained and charged with driving under alcohol on Saturday night.

According to Napa County records, Pelosi was booked into jail at 4:13 a.m. local time on Sunday and released at 7:26 a.m. According to the papers, which contained his exact date of birth, his bond was set at $5,000.

According to the public booking report, Pelosi is charged with breaching two provisions of Vehicle Code section 23152. He was accused of driving under alcohol and having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or higher, and each is a misdemeanor.
