Tanya Fear, a British actress best known for her role in a Doctor Who episode, has gone missing in Los Angeles.

After novelist Bolu Babalola tweeted a missing poster for Tanya on Twitter on Sunday morning (September 12), word of her absence quickly spread.

“My friend Tanya has vanished near the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. She has been missing since September 9, 2021. Please contact (626) 232-8616 #FindTanyaFear if you have any useful information. Bolu tweeted, "Would appreciate it if those in the area or with reach in that area RT."

“On the day she went missing, her hair was natural, in its afro state,” she later added.

Tanya's manager, Alex Cole, told The Today Show that he last spoke to her eight days ago and that she was "fine."

The absence came as a shock to him, he added.

Tanya has been pursuing a career in standup comedy in the Hollywood Bowl neighborhood of Los Angeles for the past two months.

Tanya played Dr. Jade McIntyre in a Doctor Who episode from 2018. She has appeared in the films Kick-Ass 2 (2013) and A Moving Image (2016).
