A camera captured the contents of a letter delivered to President Joe Biden from an assistant during a virtual conference with governors on Friday: "Sir, there is something on your chin."

The letter was disclosed when the president turned the card over to take notes during the discussion in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building's South Court Auditorium.

On Friday, Vice President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had a virtual meeting with seven governors, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Washington State Governor Jay Inslee, to address wildfire prevention, preparedness, and response measures.

During the virtual discussion, Biden said, "We can't ignore how the overlapping and intertwined factors — extreme heat, prolonged drought, and supercharged wildfire conditions — are affecting the country," "And so this is a challenge that demands our urgent, urgent action."

Governors Greg Gianforte of Montana, Kate Brown of Oregon, Brad Little of Idaho, Tim Walz of Minnesota, and Mark Gordon of Wyoming were among those on the call.

In recent weeks, wildfires have burned over the Pacific Northwest, blanketing the United States in smoke that could be seen as far as the East Coast. According to Insider's Morgan McFall-Johnson, "The largest, Oregon's Bootleg Fire, has grown to nearly twice the size of New York City and started generating its own weather,"

"This year will be a tough fight, and the only way we'll be able to handle those obstacles is if we work together. Wildfires are a challenge for all of us, and we must work together to do everything we can to protect our people "Biden stated the following.
