On Sunday evening, a car slammed through a crowd of spectators at a mud-track event in Fabens, Texas. According to a local newspaper, the incident harmed dozens of people.

A video from the scene shows one of the race cars losing control right away and crashing into a crowd of onlookers.

Footage from the scene of the accident shows a damaged vehicle slammed into many blue tents, as well as people assisting an injured person.

Multiple ambulances and a medevac chopper were dispatched to the racetrack, according to local media.
