Three individuals were killed and six others were injured in a shooting near a hookah lounge in Miami, Florida, according to the Local 10 News broadcaster on Sunday, quoting authorities.

According to a Miami-Dade police director, Freddy Ramirez, referenced in the story, the gun death occurred around 2 a.m. local time (06:00 GMT) during a graduation party in the Kendall suburb as people began to leave. Two suspect automobiles, a dark-colored Chevy Malibu and a white Toyota Camry are reported to have pulled up alongside one another, with one of the occupants of one of the two vehicles opening fire.

According to authorities, one fleeing vehicle collided with a wall at Miami-Dade College's Kendall campus. Two bodies were discovered in the automobile, along with a gun.

According to reports, all six survivors drove themselves to a hospital and are in stable condition.

The shooting comes after a similar event in late May, in which three persons opened fire near a Miami-Dade banquet hall, killing two people and injuring 21 others.
