A Missouri woman who smuggled a gun to jail hiding it in her vagina has been sentenced to jail for a decade.

According to the reports by The Smoking Gun, the 39-year-old Amy Wilhite had been pleaded guilty of smuggling a 4-inch 22 caliber revolver gun fully loaded with 5 rounds into the Boone Hill county jail on 14th February. The inmate has been copped to a felony indictment charging her with “delivery or concealment” of the weapon in a court hearing last week.

The officers failed to detect the gun in their initial search but when later found, Amy told that she was holding it for a fellow inmate whereas the claim was refuted by the fellow inmates in her housing unit.
