Late Thursday, a shooting was confirmed at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Star, at about 11.30 p.m., police released a press release stating that several victims had been found at the facility near the airport. It's unclear how many people were shot or how serious their injuries were.
It was dubbed a "mass casualty case" by police.
Crime scene tape was visible in the parking lot outside the facility on live footage from news outlets on the scene.
Sgt. John Perrine of the Indianapolis State Police said in a tweet that officers intended to make a statement to the media at a nearby hotel.
Perrine had previously tweeted that I-70 near the facility was closed in both directions.
