Biden 'can't picture' the US troops in Afghanistan next year

President Biden, during his press conference at the White House, said that he is not seeing the US troops staying in Afghanistan for one more year.

“It's gonna be hard to meet the May 1 deadline,” Biden said responding to a reporter's question, “In terms of Tactical reasons, it's gonna be difficult to get the troops out.”

Biden said it is not his intention to stay there for a long time. He said he “can't picture” the troop staying in Afghanisthan for one more year.

Biden also said, he along and Secretary Blinken have been discussing with the US allies at NATO, who have troops in Afghanistan, about getting the troops out from there. 

“We've been meeting with our allies, those other nations that have NATO allies who have troops in Afghanistan as well. And if we leave we're going to do so in a safe and orderly way,” Biden said in the conference.

Biden stressed on he does not the insurgency in Afghanistan to continue longer.
