New Jersey man allegedly pointed a stolen gun at a Pennsylvania Cop's head

Reynaldo Figueroa-Ardon, a New Jersey man, allegedly pointed a stolen gun on a Pennsylvania Police Officer's head but was unsuccessful to pull the trigger.

According to the prosecutors, Ardon, 20, whipped out a handgun and pointed it at the cop’s head.

The incident happened in Whitemarsh Township Wednesday morning.

According to Montgomery Police, officers were in the scene after responding to a call of a man trying to break into cars.

Prosecutors said that the man pulled the trigger but no shots were fired as there were bullets in the magazine but none in the chamber.

He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on charges of attempting to murder a cop and illegal possession of a firearm. 

His bail has been set to $3.5 million
