According to the new guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fully vaccinated people can now gather without maintaining social distancing guidelines.

The CDC said that the fully vaccinated people will neither have to stay in quarantine or get tested for the virus after the contact unless they show symptoms.

CDC director Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky said in a statement that, "We know that people want to get vaccinated so they can get back to doing the things they enjoy with the people they love. There are some activities that fully vaccinated people can begin to resume now in their own homes."

There has been growing evidence for the people who get vaccinated being less likely to get infected again or spread the virus.

According to the CDC, a person is considered fully vaccinated, two weeks after receiving the last dose of the vaccine.

In addition, CDC recommends that fully vaccinated people continue to wear well-fitted masks and continue social distancing measures.
