A Florida Man, Joseph Davis will be spending his Valentine's day alone after he stole a ring from one girlfriend to gift it to another.

Davis used the alias Joe Brown with his one girlfriend and Marcus Brown with the other.

Authorities say 48-years-old Davis is wanted on a grand theft charge after betraying two girlfriends he met on the dating site OkCupid.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's office, he dated his first girlfriend since 2015. She told the detectives she learned that Davis was engaged to the second woman through some Facebook sleuthing.

She said that the second woman was wearing an engagement ring and the wedding band identical to her own from a previous marriage.

Authorities say about $6,270 worth of property including rings and other items had been stolen from her.

Davis had been dating the second woman since 2019. After his first girlfriend contacted his second girlfriend, they joined the forces and reported him to the authorities.

The second girlfriend also found her own laptop and jewelry missing after Davis moved out of her apartment.

Authorities say the second woman even recalled Davis taking her to his first girlfriend's apartment. She said Davis claimed that the home was his.

Davis has a previous rap sheet that includes an active warrant in Oregon for a hit-and-run crash, domestic assault, and possession of cocaine.
