American actor, director and producer Norman Lloyd with career spanning almost a century has passed away at the age of 106. 

Lloyd died Tuesday at his home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, confirmed his son, Michael Lloyd.

His credits to the entertainment industry stretch from the earliest known U.S. TV drama, 1939′s “On the Streets of New York” to 21st-century projects including “Modern Family” and “The Practice.”
