At least 24 people have died when Heavy rains flooded an underground clandestine garment factory in Morocco. As reported by Morocco's state news agency the incident happened in the northern city of Tangier,
10 workers have been rescued so far, and the operation to rescue the possible trapped workers inside the factory is going on.
It is not yet clear that how many people were inside the factory when the incident took place.
The laborers work at grave risk under in very large numbers. At least, one-fifth of the nonagricultural economic activity in Morocco is represented by the 'informal labor sector.'
Last month, floods in Morocco’s economic capital Casablanca killed at least four people and injured others as homes collapsed in the heavy rains.
