US Secretary of Education becomes the latest one to resign from Trump's cabinet amidst the riots at Capitol Hill.

According to the Wall Street Journal, She said in her resignation letter to Trump that his behavior "was unconscionable for our country. There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me."

President-elect Joe Biden has been a harsh critic of DeVos.He once said in a National Education Association forum in June 2019 that his first act if elected would be to "make sure that the Secretary of Education is not Betsy DeVos, it is a teacher."

Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, Northern Ireland special envoy and former chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, White House social secretary Rickie Niceta and several others' have resigned since the Capitol Hill riot.

Many Democrats and Republicans are urging Vice-President Mike Pence to invoke article 25. Article 25 allows the vice president to take over from the President.

Some Democrats are also demanding Donald Trump's impeachment from the White House to make sure he can't be president anymore.

Vice-President, however, hasn't stated anything about invoking article 25.

Donald Trump's niece Mary Trump told Anderson Cooper on CNN that the recent spate of resignations was "not out of protest, but so they don't have to be involved in any 25th Amendment issues."
