Biden received Pfizer vaccine on live TV; Trump yet to join the wave

In contrast to President Donald Trump's mixed messages about the vaccine, Biden received the Pfizer vaccine on live television in order to boost Americans' confidence.

78-year old American president-elect Joe Biden has received first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on live television. On Monday, he got Pfizer's vaccine in Christina Hospital in Newark, Delaware. According to presidential transition team, his wife received the vaccine earlier. In contrast to President Donald Trump's mixed messages about the vaccine, Biden received the Pfizer vaccine on live television in order to boost Americans' confidence.

Biden suggested the general people not to worry and just listen to the experts while they get vaccinated. Biden and the future first lady being the latest high-profile political figures to get publicly vaccinated, vice president-elect Kamala Harris and her husband are reported to get vaccinated next week.

President Donald Trump is yet to take a forward-step in the wave. 319K Americans have already lost their lives due to the virus.
