According to a source, a Pakistani man with a penchant for weapons confessed to the fatal shooting of a British law school graduate earlier this month.

According to the Sun, Zahir Jadoon, a wealthy socialite from Lamore, is accused of assaulting Mayra Zulfiqar, 25, after she turned down his marriage proposal.

According to the paper, Zulfiqar, who had recently moved to Pakistan after finishing law school, was found with bullet wounds to the neck and shoulder inside her apartment on May 3.

Police Superintendent Shoaib Khurram Janbaz told the Sun, "The key suspect has confessed to his crime."

“Now that the case has been solved, we can move on to ensuring that the perpetrator is punished,” Janbaz said.
