After the rumors of widespread voter fraud and reports of election irregularities, Army has detained Aung San Suu Kyi and other members of the ruling parties.

Myanmar's state counselor and other members of her party, the National League for Democracy, have been detailed by the Army at their residence in the capital Naypyidaw on Monday.

Media agencies report say that the internet has been shut down in the Capital and the leader has been detained in the South Asian Nation.

Myanmar, which got its democracy restored in 2010 after decades of military rule, has once again been feared of a Military coup. There have been no reports from the military yet on this issue.

Aung Sung Suu Kyi's party has been a winner of a landslide victory against the army-backed party, Union For Solidarity and Development. Suu Kyi's party won 373 out of 473 while the army-backed party won only 33 seats.

Army Spokesperson had denied the rumors of a potential 'military coup' on Sunday.
