According to authorities, two individuals were killed, and four others were injured early Sunday morning in a shooting at an Indiana nightclub.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 2:00 a.m. in Gary, southeast of Chicago, and discovered two unresponsive victims who had been shot. According to authorities, a 34-year-old guy was located near the nightclub's entrance, and a 26-year-old woman was found inside. Both were pronounced deceased upon arrival at a local hospital.
According to police, four additional persons were injured, including one in severe condition.
Authorities did not release the victims' identities or details about what may have prompted the shooting. They reported that many law enforcement agencies responded owing to the significant number of victims and the enormous crowd that needed to be evacuated.
