Wednesday, Johnny Depp testified as his trial with Amber Heard nears its end.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor sues his ex-wife for $50 million, alleging that she defamed him in an article published by The Washington Post in 2018. Amber, 36, claimed she was a victim of domestic violence abuse.

He disputes the allegations, but Heard has also filed a $100 million lawsuit against her ex-husband.

On Wednesday, Depp and another of his exes, Kate Moss, took the stand to answer questions, igniting the case.

Here, we examine the day's most significant bombshells.

Kate Moss refutes rumors that Depp shoved her down the stairs.

Kate Moss's admirers hailed her as a "Queen" as she testified at the trial from a location in Gloucestershire.

The British actor refuted Heard's claims that Depp forced her downstairs during their relationship, telling the court, "No, he never pushed, kicked, or pushed me down any stairs.

Before her statement, Moss described how she had fallen down the stairs while on vacation with Depp and disclosed that the actor had helped her receive medical assistance.

"In her mind, hearing turned Moss's fall into an ugly incident," explains Depp.

After Moss denied that Depp had shoved her, the 58-year-old actor joined the stand to corroborate her story.

He testified: "I recall witnessing Kate slipping and falling as she exited the door. She was plainly in bodily pain, and she was injured and crying, so I rushed over to check on her well-being.

"That's all there is to the tale... Before Ms. Heard began spreading this rumor, I had never heard of it."

Heard's images of abuse are modified.

Bryan Neumeister, an expert in digital forensics, cast doubt on the authenticity of photographs that Amber Heard claimed depicted physical abuse by Johnny Depp.

The court was shown a video of Heard's red-faced appearance. Neumeister told the court that it demonstrated how multiple copies of the same image might be "treated two different ways."

According to him, Photo 3.0 software was used to modify the photo such that it "looks quite a bit different" from the first.

Depp asserts Heard gave him a black eye on their wedding day.

In 2015, while Depp and Heard were on their honeymoon, Depp claimed that Heard attacked him.

While previous events from the holiday focused on charges that Depp beat his ex-girlfriend, he testified that it was the other way around.

He noted that there were "agreeable" portions of the journey but that Amber also "started the rant " occasionally.

He said, "At one time... I cannot recall how long it lasted... I was struck in the face, in the eye, so I got a bit of a shiner.

"It all ended and then everything got fine again."

Depp describes Heard's allegations as "insane."

During his time on the stand, Depp was questioned about his experience listening to Amber's claims during her testimony.

After a lengthy pause, he stated, "Insane."

He said, "It is insanity to hear the horrific claims of violence and sexual assault attributed to me and that she has accused me.

"I don't think anyone enjoys having to split themselves open and tell the truth, but there are times when one just simply has to because it's gotten out of control."

After another pause, he expressed how he felt and remarked, "Horrible. Ridiculous. Humiliating. Ludicrous. Painful. Savage. Unimaginably nasty, cruel, and dishonest in every way, All false.

"I wished... No human being is flawless, surely none of us are, but I have never in my life committed sexual battery, physical abuse, or any of these crazy, outrageous allegations of me committing these acts and waiting six years to reveal the truth."
