Bollywood actor Salman Khan was bitten by a non-venomous snake at his Panvel farmhouse at Vaje in Panvel taluka early on Sunday.
Khan was immediately rushed to MGM hospital in Kamothe by his bodyguards. The doctor immediately treated the actor in the casualty ward, and he was discharged at around 9 am.
The incident occurred at Arpita Farms, named after the actor’s sister. Khan was at the farmhouse for Christmas Celebrations.
Dr. Ashish Jha at MGM hospital, Kamothe, informed that his bodyguards brought Khan to the hospital around 3 am the morning to treat a snake bite on his hands.
The snake had bitten him on his hand while trying to shoo it away. Khan was directly administered an anti-venom injection as a protective antidote. His bodyguards caught the snake and fetched it to the hospital container to help identify its species. Fortunately, it was a non-venomous snake, and it was a major relief.
Khan was kept in observation for six hours, and as he was “out of danger,” he was discharged from the hospital.
