In a message published on Wednesday, Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized an Israeli bombing on Syria's Latakia port on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Lebanon's government and people "will always stand behind the Syrian Arab Republic in what protects its security, stability, and citizens' safety."
Since the Syrian civil war began out in 2011, the Tel Aviv administration has launched hundreds of bombings on Syrian soil, primarily targeting Iranian-backed troops and Lebanese Hezbollah soldiers.
