A middle school in Pennsylvania is mourning the death of one of its students, who died allegedly before a basketball practice on Wednesday.

A medical examiner told WTAE that Jayson Kidd, a 12-year-old student at Chartiers Valley Middle School in Bridgeville, fainted during warm-ups at a practice held at the school on Wednesday. 

According to the Tribune-Review, he died at a local hospital. 

The cause of death has yet to be determined.
