Britney Spears praised her fans for their support during her 13-year conservatorship battle, saying she cried for two hours.
Judge Brenda Penny removed Britney's father Jamie Spears from his post as conservator last week, delegating power to a California-based consultant named John Zabel until December 31.
The 39-year-old took to Twitter to express her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support throughout the years.
She stated, "#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!!"
"I cried for two hours last night because I know my fans are the best..."
"I feel your hearts and you feel mine ... that much I know is true!!!!!" she said, adding a pink heart emoji to the end of the message.
The pop singer's tearful post came after being released from a legal agreement she had been under since 2008.
Following the previously slow-moving case, the judge has now set November 12 as the deadline for the conservatorship to be removed.
Her father has vehemently opposed his removal for meddling in his daughter's life, but her supporters applauded the judge's decision.
Britney also published a photo with her 35 million Instagram followers of herself walking away from the camera in knee-high red heeled boots, topless, and wearing a matching set of red bikini bottoms, which she is carrying.
