After their wedding was postponed from November 2018 due to media rumors of a financial issue involving his mother, Japan's Princess Mako will marry her boyfriend Kei Komuro on Oct. 26, the Imperial Household Agency announced Friday.
Princess Mako, Emperor Naruhito's niece, has been diagnosed with complicated post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of hateful criticism directed at her and the Komuro family, according to the agency.
The princess and Komuro, both 29, will hold a joint press conference on the day of their wedding, according to the agency.
