The latest reports from reliable sources indicate Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City have reached a "final agreement."
According to the report, Manchester City will be seeking to close out the deal with the Juventus forward, after failing to sign Harry Kane, who was their first target.
Italian Journalist Alfredo Pedulla first broke about the deal saying both parties are in a total agreement and a formal bid is expected on Friday.
Pedulla claimed that a 'conference call' got underway between Ronaldo's super-agent, Jorge Mendes, and Manchester City officials in order to get the green light for the transfer.
Although Manchester City seemed likely to pay for Ronaldo's Salary, It was suspected that the transfer fee might be blocking the negotiations. However, Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Manchester City will make a €30 million offer on Friday.
Ronaldo started his top-level football in Manchester with Manchester United. He then played for Real Madrid, where he spent most of his career before signing for Juventus in 2018.
