America was still planning to flee Afghanistan before the Taliban takeover on Sunday. However, an unexpected Taliban takeover seems to have escalated America's plan.

American Embassy is now being operated from International Airport in Kabul and the Biden administration is discussing deploying more troops for a safe evacuation of the embassy.

US secretary of State Antony Blinken is continuously discussing with the Nato Allies of the US including his French, British, Australian, German, and Norwegian counterparts about the recent developments in Afghanistan.

The Biden Administration has also decided to increase the number of troops deployed in Afghanistan, which is currently at 3,000 to 6,000.

However, the US has said the security presence will be only temporary until the evacuation of Embassy staff.
