Just a day before Eid Al Adha, a blast happened in a roadside market in Iraq that killed at least 35 and injured dozens of people.
The incident happened on Monday evening when the market was busy with shoppers looking for gifts and groceries.
No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack as of yet. However, Islamic State has been responsible for such attacks before.
The roadside attack was targeted at a suburb in the capital city of Baghdad.
The Iraqi military said that it has launched an investigation into the incident and the commander of the federal police regiment responsible for the area of the marketplace has been taken under arrest.
It is the third time of the year that a bomb was targeted at a market in eastern Baghdad.
