ITV has confirmed that England's Euro 2020 semi-final versus Denmark will be shown on Wednesday night.
With a peak of over 21 million viewers tuned in to the BBC's broadcast, Gareth Southgate's side earned their spot in the final four with a 4-0 victory over Ukraine last night.
The BBC had the first choice of the quarter-final matches, while ITV had the first choice of the semi-finals, and unsurprisingly, the broadcaster has picked the England game, which will take place at Wembley at 8 p.m.
As a result, the other semi-final match, Italy vs. Spain, will be broadcast on BBC One on Tuesday night.
As a result of the revelation, ITV's soaps, Emmerdale and Coronation Street will now air on Tuesday nights rather than Wednesday nights, with hour-long specials starting at 8 p.m.
The BBC and ITV will both show the final on Sunday, as per their broadcast agreement.
