The band, which was dismissed from Johnny in 2015, mourned the former member on their social media sites.

On 8 May, the late musician informed his fans of his health. In a social media update, he talked about his diagnosis: "It is difficult in the heart that I should let everyone know my health and myself. Over the last month, I was hospitalized. Haptic failure was diagnosed to me. And the forecast isn't that good. I don't have health insurance as I do with other musicians, and without it, it is really difficult to receive the right care."

"I'm under at least 7 drugs and I require the fluid that accumulates every couple of days that drains my abdomen. It's a matter of course. I lost much strength and I'm going to need physical rehabilitation."

At the moment he claimed that he had been given fundraising to help him. The GoFundMe page has been created to attain 100,000 dollars.

On June 16, just 10 days before his death, Brian Lawrence, the organizer who launched the page, made an update on the health of the star.

Brian stated, "He'll get a new dialysis catheter, a blood clot taken care of in his leg, and a vessel mended in his heart (goes without saying, the heart needs to be very strong to withstand a transplant). There are hazards in all these operations. But things must be done so that he might be a contender, and so I agreed with them, of course."
