"I think it's very critical that we proceed carefully": Boris Johnson


On Monday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson appeared to rule out putting the end of COVID-19 restrictions in England forward, saying that the success of the COVID-19 decommissioning roadmap hinged on leaving space stages.

"I think it's very critical that we proceed carefully," Johnson said when asked if the final stage of his roadmap out of lockdown could be moved up to June 21.

"I believe the key to our success so far has been that we've been led by data and given time to see the impact of each successive stage on the roadmap."

Johnson said, the one-metre plus social distancing law for restaurants and pubs could be repealed on June 21, .
