Officials in Texas say at least nine people were hurt in a gunshot in downtown Austin on Saturday morning.

Multiple victims were injured, according to police. In a series of tweets, Austin-Travis County EMS stated that at least nine patients were being treated, with at least six of them being transferred to hospitals.

The cause of the incident is unknown. There have been no suspects or arrests announced by the police.
