Twitter has finally launched its subscription service, Twitter Blue, which is specifically aimed at power users. 

Previously, there was a certain clarity over the app being launched, however, there was a lack of clarity on what this is really about.

The company officially launched its new service via its blog.

We’ve heard from the people that use Twitter a lot, and we mean a lot, that we don’t always build power features that meet their needs. Well, that’s about to change. We took this feedback to heart, and are developing and iterating upon a solution that will give the people who use Twitter the most what they are looking for: access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level.

Twitter also assured its users that the free service is not going away but the new application will just be adding power features long asked by the users. The subscription service will include Bookmark Folder, Undo Tweet, Reader mode, etc.

The service is priced at CAD 3.49 or AUD 4.49 per month and has only been released in Australia and Canada.
