Most of the Game of Thrones fans are probably already aware that the shooting of its prequel “House of Dragons” based on the events that occurred 100 years before the timeline of the original.
HBO is currently preparing for another GOT prequel “10,000 Ships” which will be based on the events that took place over 1,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
HBO has hired Amanda Segel to write the story of the “10,000 Ships” which will be about Princess Nymeria of Essos. The story of Nymeria who lived with her people is one of the vaguer mythical legends in George RR Martin's mythology, however, has a good potential inside it.
The people of Essos come into conflict with the Valyrian Freehold, and lost a fight against their air force full of dragons. Uprooted from their home, Nymeria and her people, then move along the banks of the River Rhoyne and on a sea voyage all the way to Westeros where they settle in a Drone.
Legend has it that Nymeria burned her fleet of 10,000 ships upon landing, a symbolic gesture that confirmed that Dorne was their new home and that there was no going back.
Segel has been previously written on the shows like The Good Wife and The Wife and has produced shows like Helstorm and Person of Interest.
