“Get these nuts off the street,” a Manhattan man who was shoved onto subway tracks by an unhinged stranger said to Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday.
In the wake of a rash of unprovoked attacks on the transit system, Randall Weaver, 60, called on the mayor to do more to keep commuters safe.
“We need protection,” Weaver said on Monday, his arm still in a sling from injuries sustained in the harrowing incident on Saturday morning.
“Just be careful and keep these jerks off the street,” says the narrator.
Weaver had been a Parks Department employee for over 15 years when he was pulled off the platform at the 135th Street station about 5:15 a.m.
