The strange meteor-like things which were seen falling across the sky in the U.S. Pacific Northwest were no asteroid, meteor, or comets. Experts say the falling objects were likely SpaceX debris.
SpaceX had launched a batch of 60 Starlink Internet Satellites to orbit aboard a two-stage Falcon 9 rocket.
Experts assume Thursday's night show was likely put up by the SpaceX rockets.
The National Weather Service (NWS), Seattle tweeted that there are no impacts that are expected in the ground in their region. It wrote, “While we await further confirmation on the details, here's the unofficial information we have so far. The widely reported bright objects in the sky were the debris from a Falcon 9 rocket 2nd stage that did not successfully have a deorbit burn.”
