The Chinese Military has banned Tesla cars from entering its complexes over security concerns.

Some Analysts say about the ban as a reply to the scrutiny over Chinese tech companies by the White House. However, China's ban on Tesla Cars is only from entering the military complexes, unlike the US sanction which has a wide range.

The US-based electric car maker Tesla had received strong backing from China while its expansion abroad.

Tesla’s sleek Model 3 sedans were the best-selling electric vehicle in the country before being overtaken by a much cheaper micro EV.

The newly introduced directory advises Tesla car owners to park their vehicles outside the military property.

Tesla sold 147,445 cars in China last year, or 30% of its total deliveries, though the competition is growing from domestic rivals such as Nio Inc and Geely.
