In a telephone call with Fox News,. the former US President Donald Trump assured about the effectiveness of the vaccine and urged his supporters to get vaccinated.
Former US President Donald Trump has said he would like it if more people get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
“We have our freedoms, and we have to live by that, and I agree with that also. But it’s a great vaccine, it’s a safe vaccine, and it’s something that works,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday night.
Trump administration helped to fund in Moderna vaccine and the former president said his administration deserves credit for producing vaccines in a record time, which otherwise would have taken "Five more years."
Trump is said to have been vaccinated in January. However, unlike other US presidents getting vaccinated, his vaccination was not given the limelight
In a survey, it was found that most of the people who do not plan to get vaccinated were Republicans.
