After the US capitol police relayed important intelligence information about an unnamed militia group planning an attack at the US capitol, the House session for Thursday has been scrapped.

It follows an online conspiracy of people who believe Trump will return to Washington for a second term on March 4.

The US capital police released a statement which said, “We have obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, 4 March.”

The Police said there have been significant security upgrades to establish physical structure and increasing protections to ensure that Congress is protected.

House officials told lawmakers that the voting will no longer occur today.

The house session had planned to vote on two key bills: Police Reform Bill and Voting Rights Bill on Thursday.
