The Space-X's starship said to be "destined for mars" explodes after landing successfully on Thursday after a possible methane leak.
This is the third explosion of the SN-10 starship. The previous two such attempts failed in a similar manner, last December.
The rocket had exploded on the landing pad after few minutes of a successful landing after completing a 10-kilometer (6.2 miles) altitude hop test in Texas.
Space X founder Elon Musk tweeted about the landing being successful without even mentioning the blast. "Starship SN10 landed in one piece!" he tweeted.
