China donates vaccines to Philippines on a ceremony in Manila

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte attended the handover ceremony of the vaccines at a Philippine Air Force base in the capital city of Manila.

The 600,000 doses of COVID vaccines are the first batch of the coronavirus vaccine that the South Asian Nation has received.

Philipines has contracted to several companies including China's SinoVac and UK's AstraZeneca. The country aims to innoculate 70 million people which is two-third of its entire population.
