"If Pigs could fly, high in the sky, Where do you think they'd go?" Well, this question might make no sense as we know they can't fly. But the Pigs might able to fly an aircraft in a video game.

A new study by researchers from Purdue University in Indiana has shown that the pigs can use a digital screen and joystick, operated by their snout, to move the cursor around for rewards.

Four pigs tested during the research were actually able to show their video game skills to some extent.

Playing video games can be a complex task especially for animals. they need to understand the link between moving around a joystick and what's happening on the digital screen to get a reward.

However, the pigs weren't yet ready to compete with kids in Mario Kart as the researchers upped the difficulty level of the task.

They could not even compete with the monkeys for whom the task was originally designed.

Researchers assume that this might because moving the joystick with the snout is a lot harder than the thumbs.

Previously Researches has shown that the pigs show remarkable intelligence in complex cognitive tasks and are masters are spatial learning tasks. This research can be looked upon as a new addition to that.
