Japanese striker Takumi Minamino has joined Southampton from Liverpool in a loan deal.
Southampton have recently completed a loan agreement. Southampton completed all the procedures two hours before the final deadline on Monday.
He will replace San Long at the club who had just joined the championship team Bournemouth.
Minamino, 26, was signed by Liverpool in January 2020 for £7.25 million from Red Bull Salzburg. However, he did not freeze well at Anfield. He has only played four games since coming to Liverpool.
Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhutl said Minamino was a good offensive option for him.
