In an incident said to be the largest mass casualty shooting in a decade five people were shot dead which included a pregnant woman. Her child is also said to be dead. One boy who was severely injured during the incident is expected to survive.
Randall Taylor, Chief of the Indianapolis Police department said the incident to be the largest mass casualty shooting in more than a decade.
Although no suspects or any motive has been identified as of yet, police say the incident not being a random act.
Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett has called the Feds for the investigation. In an emotional news conference, Hogsett said, "I want those responsible to know that the full might of local state and federal law enforcement is coming for them as I speak." He added, "coming for them today, coming for them tonight coming for them tomorrow ... coming for them as long as it takes."
