ELECTION DAY: Biden ahead of Trump in battleground states according to final polls

In Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona, RealClearPolitics shows Biden leading Trump, ahead by half a percentage point to nearly seven.

Trump was victorious in all of those states four years ago.

As both previously voted for Republicans, North Carolina and Arizona are being closely watched. However, in their demographics, the two states have changed.

In Arizona, according to CNBC, Biden and Trump are tied at 48 percent each, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.

Pennsylvania is a toss-up as well. He is currently leading there by 2.9 percent, the birth state of Biden. It is perceived to be a must-win.

The presidential elections of 2020 are already momentous. Before the polls opened, early voting and mail-in voting exceeded 100 million this morning.

In Texas, early voting in the last presidential contest has already surpassed the total number of votes in that state.

She also noted that until the end of Election Day, the state's law does not allow early ballots to be counted. More than 3 million votes from Michigan may take days to tally.

President Trump has pushed back against the idea that after Election Day, votes are counted, saying it is "bad for our country."

Former Vice President Biden is "holding 24 states worth 290 electoral votes in his column," according to the Cook Political Report on Saturday. To secure the presidency, a total of 270 electoral college votes are required.

Only 20 states are safely held by Trump, worth 125 electoral votes.
