At least 86 people have died after drinking illegally-made alcohol in three districts of the northern state of Punjab on Saturday.
The majority of the deaths have taken place: 63 deaths in Tarn Taran, 12 in Amritsar Rural at 12 and 11 in Gurdaspur(Batala).
Six policemen, seven excise official were suspended and twenty-five people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The police have conducted over 100 raids in three districts and several other places on Saturday.
The raids have exposed a massive liquor racket and seized large quantities of raw materials.
