The Xiaomi company will launch the basic Redmi Note 9 as Redmi 10X, and the latest official posters with a brand ambassador confirming the suspicions. One of the teasers also revealed a launch is scheduled for May 26 at 2 PM.
Xiaomi will launch two new smartphones as part of the Redmi 10X series. It will feature the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro. There could be the third smartphone in the series as well but there’s no confirmation on it so far.
Photography will be a highlight of the upcoming Redmi 10X series. The company has already teased on Weibo that the Redmi 10X will come with support for 30x zoom and OIS on one of its cameras. It could be a quad camera setup at the rear with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
Redmi 10X Pro is also confirmed to feature a star track mode which is said to make taking long-exposure night shots simple. And users will not require any equipment for this.
Xiaomi has confirmed on Weibo that the Redmi 10X will support dual 5G SIMs. Naturally, the device will support dual 4G connectivity, too.
Based on current marketing materials, the Redmi 10X will be available in four colors at launch. @xiaomishka implied that the quad-camera smartphone might launch with MIUI 12 too, but that remains to be seen.
